You may find that the format of your mailing address that we have on our system may differ slightly from the way you supplied it to us. This is because our system formats the address according to Post Office guidelines. In order to ensure that you can easily locate your account please use your Customer Number. If you have already paid your bill, but are still receiving invoices, please keep in mind that it can take up to four weeks for us to receive and process your payment. If it has been less than four weeks since you sent your payment, please disregard any invoices that you receive, as we may be unable to intercept them in the mail. If it has been more than four weeks since you remitted payment, please contact us.

Early Renewal Notices

Renewal reminders are sent well in advance of subscription expiry date to ensure that our customers do not experience a break in service. Existing subscriptions are served in full before the renewal subscription begins.

 

Paying for Early Renewals

As soon as your renewal order is processed, we amend your subscription expiry date and generate an invoice for your additional renewal term. This allows you to make your payment early, avoiding the possibility that payment might be overlooked and guarantees your discounted price.
Alternatively, you could avoid renewal notices and bills entirely by joining our Preferred Subscriber Automatic Renewal Program. To join the program, please renew online.

 

Preferred Subscriber Automatic Renewal Program

For credit card subscribers. We will continue to renew your subscription at the low subscriber rate, without interruption, unless you tell us to stop. At the end of your initial term and then before the start of each new term, we'll simply charge your credit card in time to lock in the savings then in effect. We'll send you a reminder, with a number to call if you wish to cancel, before we charge your card. For monthly Pay-As-You-Go, we will send you a notification before we charge your card, with a number to call if you wish to cancel, if there is a change to your monthly rate. You may cancel at any time during your subscription and receive a full refund on all un-served issues. If your credit card is inactive, we'll bill you directly instead.

To cancel your subscription please contact us. We will promptly stop your service and issue a refund for any unmailed copies.

If you cancelled your subscription, but are still receiving bills, please note that it takes a few days for a cancellation to become effective. Therefore, if you receive any invoices after you have cancelled, please ignore them.

You may also receive up to two further issues AFTER your cancellation has been processed since we are unable to intercept these in the mail. Please note that you will not be charged for these issues and you may accept them with our compliments

If you are going to be at a temporary address for three weeks or more and would like to temporarily redirect your subscription delivery, please contact us.

Please note that we are only able to offer this free service if your temporary relocation is within Europe, Africa, the Middle East or Latin America.

Our magazines delivery window is seven to three days before the cover date. Your magazine should arrive between the Friday and Tuesday prior to the cover date. Factors that could delay delivery are severe weather or disruption of your local postal service.

If your issue of TIME has not been delivered this week, it could be because the previous week’s issue was a double issue, with additional special content, and a two week on-sale period. We print a special message on the poly-wrap of our double issues to alert subscribers if there will be no issue in the following week. Please see below for further information on double issues.

Time Magazine UK Ltd currently publishes 17 double issues. Each counts as two of 48 issues published annually. Frequency is subject to change without notice. Additional double issues may be published, which count as 2 issues. 

Your discounted subscription fee pays for a certain number of issues, rather than a fixed period of time, therefore your expiry date may not remain constant and will be adjusted according to the number of issues published.

I am already a TIME print subscriber. How do I upgrade my subscription to ALL ACCESS?

Having signed in to our Online Customer Service Centre, go to the tab My Orders, select the subscription you wish to upgrade, and select FREE Upgrade.

If you do not have a username and password for our Online Customer Service Centre:

  1. click here to register.
  2. Sign in to our Online Customer Service Site Centre
  3. On the Home Page, click Add Digital Access
  4. Select the subscription you wish to upgrade
  5. Select FREE Upgrade

You can then use the same username and password to sign in to the TIME Magazine Europe App on your iPad and iPhone and to access subscriber only content on TIME.com.

I have purchased an ALL ACCESS (print and digital) subscription or a Digital Subscription. How do I access the digital edition of TIME?

The TIME Digital edition is available to subscribers on iPad and iPhone. After downloading the TIME Magazine Europe App from the App Store onto your device you can use your Digital Account user name (email address) and password to sign in. This the same user name and password you use for the Online Customer Service Centre.

What is unlimited access to TIME.com?

Unlimited access allows you access the TIME Vault, with articles dating back to the first issue in 1923, and any other subscriber only content on TIME.com. If your subscription does not already include digital access click here, or go to the tab My Orders, select the subscription you wish to upgrade, and select FREE Upgrade. Is TIME ALL ACCESS available to all subscribers?

TIME ALL ACCESS is available for all regional editions: US, Europe, Asia, and South Pacific. Your Digital Edition access is for the regional edition that you subscribe to.

Where can I find the TIME Digital Edition?

From your iPad or iPhone, go to the App Store, search for TIME Magazine Europe, tap GET and verify your iTunes account to download our App.

Our magazine Apps are free to download, however, purchases made within the App will be linked to your iTunes account.

As a TIME subscriber, you can access the Digital Edition as an inclusive part of your subscription. Subscribe or refer the previous section “TIME All Access and Digital Subscriptions” if you are already a subscriber.

Subscriptions to TIME Magazine Europe can be purchased directly from Zinio.com, Amazon Kindle Newsstand, Cafeyn.com or Pocketmags, depending upon your location. The subscription will not include our print edition, access to our iPad/iPhone App or access to TIME.com. We are not able to offer inclusive access to the Digital Edition to our subscribers on these platforms at this time.

How can  I get an issue of TIME in the app?

You can purchase monthly or annual subscriptions, or single digital issues within the TIME App. Download the TIME Magazine Europe App to your iPad or iPhone, tap on the issue you wish to purchase from the Home Screen and then tap Buy Issue. Purchases made within the App will be linked to your iTunes account..

Can I purchase a digital magazine subscription to TIME via iTunes?

Yes. You can purchase a monthly or annual digital magazine subscription to TIME via iTunes from within the App. Either tap on any Subscribe banner than you see on the App Home Screen, or tap on the most recent issue and tap Try It Now.  

Which Digital Edition issues will I have access to?

If you subscribed via iTunes, your subscription begins with the current issue of the magazine.

Otherwise you are entitled to all available issues from when you started subscribing. However, due to technical issues we may not be able to continue to make all older issue available. Our App has issues available dating back to 29th August 2016.

Do my issues expire?

No. Any purchased issues or issues available as part of your subscription are yours to keep.

Does the app update with each new issue?

Yes. Please enable notifications on the App to be notified when the new issue is available

The latest issue of TIME is not Appearing in my App.

Please ensure that you have a constant and strong internet connection via Wi-Fi or mobile data.

A new digital issue is uploaded on a Friday. On some weeks an issue of TIME is not published, usually following a double issue.  To check the TIME publishing schedule, sign in to our Online Customer Service Centre, click My Orders, select your active magazine subscription and click View Calendar.

Check that you have the latest version of the App installed. Go to the App Store and tap the My Account icon. Scroll down to view a list of Apps you have previously installed for which an update is available. These instructions may vary depending on the iOS software release you have installed on your device.

If by Friday evening the latest issue is still not Appearing in your App, please contact us.

The latest issue of TIME is not appearing in my Library.

Please refer to the FAQ’s and Help section within the App. Tap the Account Icon and scroll down to Troubleshooting Missing Magazines.

I recently updated my TIME App, why don't I see any of my Digital Editions in the library?

If you are a TIME subscriber, please sign in. Tap the Account Icon, Tap Sign in, Enter your digital account Username and Password.

Why won't my iPad Digital Edition download?

Please ensure that you have a constant and strong internet connection via wi-fi or mobile data.

Can I download an issue outside of the App?

Download is only available in the App and not to PDF due to copyright restrictions.

How can I delete Digital Edition issues from my device?

Tap the Library Icon and select Downloaded issues. Tap on the magazine you wish to delete (or Select All). Select Delete.

Will deleting an issue free up storage space on my iPad?

Yes and you can access it again at any time by re-downloading the issue, free of charge.

I am a subscriber to the U.S. edition living abroad. Why do I no longer have access to new issues of the U.S. edition on my iPad?

Regional editions of TIME are now available on the iPad and iPhone for U.S./Canada, Europe, Asia, and South Pacific. To continue enjoying TIME, please download the TIME Magazine app from the App Store. It will be specific to your region and tied to the address used in your Apple account. You can continue to enjoy all the US content as well as content from all editions on TIME.com.

What is a digital account?

A digital account is a username and password that allows you to access TIME digital products that are included with your subscription. The same username and password gives you access to our Online Customer Service Centre. Click here to set up a digital account.

Can I pay for access for just the articles that I want on TIME.com?

No, our platform is unable to bill by specific articles. Our digital and ALL ACCESS packages include unlimited access to all articles on TIME.com. Click here to view our latest digital offers.

 

I subscribed via iTunes. Do I have to sign in to the App?

No, the issues that you are entitled to as part of your iTunes subscription should be automatically available for download and will appear in your Library.

If you are using mobile data, please ensure you have enabled downloads by Mobile Data within App settings.

I subscribed via iTunes. How do I restore my existing digital only subscription or previously purchased issues?

  1. Open the TIME App
  2. Tap the Account Icon
  3. Tap Sign in
  4. Tap Restore Itunes Purchases

How do I cancel the digital subscription I purchased through iTunes?

  1. Go to Settings on your iPad or iPhone
  2. Tap on your name to view your Apple ID setting
  3. Scroll down and select Subscriptions
  4. Select the active subscription you wish to cancel

This process may  vary according to the ios sofware version you are using on your device, so if this does not work for you please refer to Apple’s online instructions for subscription cancellation.

I am having an iTunes billing problem. Can I send you my iTunes account information to get it resolved?

No. Apple does not share any billing or customer information with us, and all charges to your account are managed solely by Apple. Unfortunately we do not have the ability to look at your purchase history or credit your account. Feel free to contact customer service if you are having a problem downloading an issue.

If you have been unsuccessful in locating your account, please try using your customer number which appears on all renewal notices and bills.

Your customer number is visible in the top right of this screen.

If you are still unable to locate your account, please contact us so that we may assist you. We will be happy to verify your customer number for future reference.

We may not be able to accept your online renewal for the following reasons:

You are part of the Preferred Subscriber Automatic Renewal Program. This is an easy-to-manage subscription program in which we automatically continue your service without sending you renewal notices or bills. Once you are in this program, there is no need for you to transmit renewal instructions either online or through the mail. Of course, you are always in control of your subscription and may cancel at any time.

If your subscription order included a free gift, please note that gifts are often sent upon receipt of payment. This will be stated on the promotion you received. Once payment has been received, your free gift will be shipped. Click here to check if your payment has been received or pay your bill.
Delivery of the free gift promoted with your subscription usually takes six weeks after the receipt of the payment. If it has been six weeks, please contact us.

With Time’s money back Guarantee you can receive a refund on un-mailed issues should you wish to cancel, with the following conditions.

Time can no longer issue refunds by cheque. If we do not have your credit card details on file, you will be asked to supply your bank details for your refund.

If the value of your refund is $10 or less, and cannot be refunded to your credit card, your subscription will run to the end of the current term and be cancelled on expiry. We appreciate your understanding on this matter.
